PDK is so good in rs I have no idea why u would want to shift on a track. I've raced vintage 911, 996 cup, 997 cup..and I don't care to ever shift again on the track..as well as out 20k plus miles on my 997.2 RS on track
But on street manual makes touring fun without going to jail..and that is where a touring shines

The last thing I want is a race car, truck, trailer, f'ing with the maintenance and upkeep, etc. NIGHTMARE for me but to each their own I say. The GT3 in any version, but especially the non-RS is a great tool for the street and the track. I drive it to the track, run the heck out of it, and drive home. Mainly its for sunny days, back roads, and date night.

The challenge about taking your car to the track if when it hits the wall not if..I've wrecked hard three times, all mechanical failures..on very well maintained cars

I've kind of been there done that beating up a street car on a race track...touring and RS are bloated pigs once u drive a real race car...and not nearly as fun. I haven't tracked either and might take RS to a de so I can leave it parked in pits and drink beer

I checked it now just to see what comes up out of curiosity. I only saw 4 Tourings on there, out of 208 other 2018/19 GT3 for sale:
- Riviera Blue @ $213k
- Lave Orange @ $218k
- Agate Grey @ $195k
- Black @ $186k
There’s several PTS wing GT3 cars there which makes sense if there’s 204 wing GT3s for sale. But only 4 Tourings, only 1 PTS.

I just searched on AT and got 11 Tourings, not including dozens of cars that don't have pics or enough description to tell. And there have been 4-5 on the Classifieds here in just the past few weeks. Don't seem all that scarce. On the winged side of things, its pretty ridiculous how many super low mile cars are out there for sale right now.

It’s about 4 for sale in the Porsche database that are actually on a dealer lot.

Just picked up our ordered Chalk GT3 Touring with LWB and PCCB from Porsche Albuquerque. Original agreed ADM was $10k back in December. I ended up trading in my '17 991.2TTS as I had no serious interested parties when I tried selling myself. The dealer also agreed to reduce the ADM 25% when I argued that the market had cooled off. Mind you, this is way AFTER i had sent a deposit for the car. They also gave me a little more for my trade as the initial quote was sight-unseen and the car was cleaner than expected when I arrived with it on my trailer. The value was still less than I wanted, but it always is. Overall, no BS and fair treatment from this dealer so I am quite satisfied.
