This was basically asking $30k over. I have someone asking to pay $30k over right now for a configurable allocation and was tuned down by all the dealerships he has talked to, including two large ones here in Los Angeles.

I'm been on a dealers list for over a year who says they do their allocations at MSRP. Just to test them I had a friend go in and ask if they had any available allocations for a GT3 and they said yes we have one you can configure at $20k over. He also asked about a Carrera T allocation and they said yes and they would do 5% off MSRP. I don't want to call out the dealer but it is disappointing. I hate to lose hope of the plan to get my 1st Porsche from new. I'll hold on until fall if I can, starting to look at other brands more seriously.

He missed the 9000rpm engine as an actual feature and sales point. To top that, he guarantees financial appreciation. smh
