my 997 has ohlins ttx dampers on it. Massively higher spring rates than the stock 997 or 991 cars. But it does not feel stiff. It feels plush and compliant. The 991.2felt like that (well not quite as nice honestly) meaning it is controlled and compliant. Not just stiff. The dampers onnthe 997 cars in sport mode are just stiff. 991.1 it’s been a while since i drove. Point it’s. It may feel softer but i don’t think it is. The shocks just feel way nicer.

Hands down THE BEST PORSCHE I HAVE EVER OWNED. The RS almost seems softer and more docile. Disclaimer: I have 5400 miles on .1 RS (it is properly broken in) and the Michelin Cup 2's on the RS are not the same as those on .2 GT3.

Enjoy in good health.

What are your keepers, Mooty? I may have missed it. I think you said the 997 4.0 RS, what else?

just came back from a three hour drive. Car is way louder than previous gen.
What a fantastic car. It is identical spec to my last one, except for manual trans. The car looks the same(ish), but I feel it is a completely different drive on the "fun factor scale"
Still breaking in, but extending the revs higher. At 7000RPM it starts to waken the angry beast.

The only things he keeps for sure are his family and his stuffed bears. Everything else has a price.

A Long-hood
