Wouldn't be too sure.

The RSR has the whole rear window blocked off. This one the rear window still there.

The side rear 1/4 window means nothing really. On a Cup car it is where the air jack connects to.

A RL member ( Pors9?) has a site that pulled up 46, but I believe one was totaled out of the 47 Porsche built. Mecam auctioned one off incorrectly stating 991 were built, which was a huge disservice to the seller, given its unicorn status.

I think I can add to your numbers.

Of those cars, PCNA sold 17 coupes, Porsche Canada 3. PCNA sold 19 cabriolets and Porsche Canada 1. All model year 2012.

So 40 of those 918 Edition Turbo S are in North America.

They had a hard time moving the 918 back then, a even harder time moving the Turbo S.

I'm sure you've heard this before but your postings are the most reliable either here or on RT. I always seek our your comments. Many thanks.

I'm guessing that is a pic of 992 Cup mule with a new turbo motor, just happens to be wearing a 991 body.

Going to second that, I'm going to say (I'd add definitely, but have nothing to substantiate this from) it is a race car being tested as there are not too many street vehicles being tested on Michelin slicks. As well as lexan windows on the sides - on a race track.

It should be (and underline "should") something "à la Ferrari 599XX", a sort of track program for gentlemen drivers looking for emotions more than competitive sport...but I could be wrong

Thanks for sharing this! Of the 7 2013 models, my Cabriolet could be the last off the production line. I am curious how many 918s Porsche sold to North America customers through the date they stopped offering the Turbo S.

My 918 was order number 194. the 194th order for the 918 world wide. 4th in Canada. At that time, they already stopped taking orders for the 918 Edition Turbo S. Sorry don't have the numbers to break down how many of those 193 other orders went to.

These are only sold to people who put down the $200k deposit for the 918, some of them didn't go though with the 918 purchase but kept the car.

I was offered one of the Canadian cabriolets a while ago, I turned it down. Actually we couldn't agree on a price.

Anyway when I placed my order for the 918 I already have a 997.2 Turbo S coupe, so wasn't quite interested in buying another.

I am SUPER impressed with your database!

Quick question though, did you include the burnt down 918 in Toronto in your database? My guess is no hence the difference between 30 cars and 29 cars.

Correction.

Por9's data is more complete, it had captured another 13 cars that I don't have. 4 more in 2012, 3 coupes and 1 cab in the USA, and 9 in 2013, 2 coupes and 7 cabs, of these 9, 1 coupe and 7 cabs are in the USA, 1 cab and 2 cabs are in Canada.

How about 918 Spyder breakdown for Canada?
How many in Toronto and by each dealer?
How many in Vancouver?
I only know of yours and the Alberta Gulf car, as well as the white Weissach for sale and a Silver/Grey Pfaff car. I think a white Martini Weissach was for sale a few years back and the white one at SR.
So 6 cars out of around 30.

They originally sold 30 cars. 1 got burnt down, it wasn't replaced.

First car in the country is the yellow one in Edmonton.

Second car in Quebec, 3rd one is the Toronto car that got burnt down.

Mine is 4th.

The 2 Gulf cars are from Porsche Saskatchewan. Not Alberta.

SR Group bought a white one from new, then they got a second car from the USA. They also have another 2nd hand white car from Toronto that they add back all the Weissach bits to pretend to be. Weissach car. Only way to tell if it's a original Weissach car is to check the windshield surround. Base car are body coloured while Weissach ones are bare carbon. Everything else on the exterior from the Weissach car can be optioned or add back via the parts department.

BUT, there is one Weissach car in the world that had the windshield painted body colour. Black. wtdoom's car.

Porsche Vancouver sold 5 initially, Porsche Langley sold 1. None from Porsche Victoria.

My god that car sounds sweet! At Sebring this year you could close your eyes and know when the RSR was coming!
