Your car - get what you want. Hopefully you will use it and not be a flipper......
Congrats!

For those us that use the GT3 car as it was originally intended for on the track - PDK Wing > Manual Wing > Touring manual..............

Get the one you want. Personally, I would never buy a "GT3" without a wing.

I'm in a similar boat right now, I have a configurable allocation for a July build and initially specced it with PDK, now I am having second thoughts with the manual. It's not because I am speculating values but rather I don't know which one I would like more... MT or PDK. The touring will probably be the rarest of the bunch but I love the look of the wing. It has also crossed my mind that if I went PDK, should I try to trade up for an 991.1 RS since the market is ripe for configuarble .2 GT3s. So many decisions, I wish Porsche would make it easier for me.

Today it's roughly $10-$15k difference between each. Who knows what the future will hold. A touring GT3 will never have a premium like a 911R so who really cares. Worrying about the resale difference of $10-$15k on a $175k car is silly. Just get what you want and be glad you got an allocation.

Congrats!
well perhaps valued based rare un driven investment bubble wrap gucci crowd ,which low production
going turbo car market will likely
support

When on the fence, always go manual. PDKs will be around for a long time...and the next one will be better

Congrats on the new Porsche. I went with a GT3 manual.
What color are you going with?
I really don't understand the touring. I would be temped just to get a GTS or the Carrera T if your going 90% street.
If you are going to load up on options I would even look at a Turbo or Turbo S. I have one and it's just as amazing street car, and get's around the track pretty good.

I'm a little jealous, I put my order in over two months ago, and not expected to take delivery until November. Guess it's the way the production is going.

Oh well, whatever you get, it will be great.

Yea - not a flipper. I just don't want to get a winged car and then actually want a touring and not be able to trade in for one.

Norcal,
easiest solution to your problem...do what Terrance did, ordered both a winged and touring (or pick up a used winged as they are more readily available and order a touring) Problem solved
