You can disassemble the **** from the boot and re-use your stock shifter boot.

Ot was my plan when I had carbon trim spec’d, but now that I have leather trim I’m torn... will probably still do the 911R shifter to black it all out.

I asked for and received, gloss black wheels and gloss black mirrors on a white spec car. I wish I had gotten door pulls like KillsBugsFast’s car.

Just wish that the steering wheel center stripe was available in different colors, specifically to match my lava orange stitching. Then again, I wish there were more options for the deviated stitching.

Finally, why are we stuck with black as our only leather option??

The center steering wheel strip is available in different colors. I’ve seen some orange to match orange street stitching...

You need to customize the whole wheel for some ridiculous price just to change that piece, $3000 IIRC. It should just match your deviated stitching for free.

The door pulls would have been a nice touch, especially since they are evidently not retrofittable, but the whole process of CXX is so Byzantine and capricious it has become more trouble than it’s worth.

CXX Options List...
While I understand you can sit with someone at the PE Center and go over all the CXX options - since even my sales person isn't so sure of what's available - is there a 991.2 GT CXX option listing that someone has seen that those of us with an allocation can look at? I've got a few months before my order locks, and I would love to know what's available and what the price is.

Call or email PE with your commission # and a PE specialist will be assigned to you. You can discuss ALL things CXX and find answers to all questions you may have with this person.
Your dealership sales person should be able to help get you hooked up.

GL in the build process. It's a fun exercise!
