I would not decline an allocation at MSRP. Particularly if you want to stay in line for whatever may come along next.
If circumstances allow, keep both until you decide which is a keeper. Really nothing to lose. Absolute worst case you break even. Or end up with two amazing machines.

Welcome back, AC. Sorry to hear about your struggles but it sounds like things are better.
My main concern would be how much downtime you would be looking at? Do you need to sell your .1 RS and then play the waiting game for months and months before getting the .2? Life is short. To me the difference between the two would not justify a long wait. But i use my car almost every week, including a long drive this coming Sunday with friends, including one with a Scuderia. I value the time i have.
If the downtime is minimal, i might consider it if the car could be purchased at sticker.

U know i love your green and that i have a non-pts 997.1rs green. I can tell u as a fellow frog owner, the std Lizard, while different than signal/viper/RS green, is going to take a little bit of "specialness" out of the greens. I would sell your frog and buy a lizard! Life is short. You've experienced the 991.1rs; move on to the next.
That being said, I wouldn't blame you for staying with what you have. It's not a complete no-brainer decision. But u asked for opinions, so this is mine.

I would always go for the .2 every time. Specially now with Lizard Green readily available.

If I could have obtained an allocation I would have traded my UV for a .2RS. However, knowing I likely will not get a .2RS, I will be looking for a PTS .1RS. On the other hand the Lizard Green seems to be the color most people want to get their hands on. I'd be a little concerned that any green in a .1 becomes overshadowed a bit by the Lizard Green and sort of diminishes the specialness of having a Green .1RS. I will admit I'm not an expert on the PTS process and the value the color carries from model to model or in this case revision 1 to revision 2.

[QUOTE=AC SATCO;14891242]Still worth good money?
We'll see but think I'll trade if I go for the new one.[/QUOTE
Then I would get the .2 with out a question

I'll be trading a .1 PTS voodoo for a .2 lizard. I want to experience the new car, change of color and for the fun of it but once that passes I would be quite happy with either car. If I miss getting a .2, money will go towards a much desired 964, or outlaw SC.
