I’m 6’5” and would like a slight angle back but I see these seat angle adjusters tilt seat back which brings the seat bottom up closer to the steering wheel. Due to my long legs I can’t give up any room and have my legs/knees closer to the steering wheel.

That is the reason I am hesitant to install these seat angle adjusters. Any opinions from tall guys on these and how close they bring your legs/knees UP to the steering wheel?

Im 6’2” and personally I like the steering wheel in a lower position. So I have some room to work with. Hadn’t drove a manual in a such a long time that the first week or so I had seat pretty close. But now getting to know the car more the clutch doesn’t have to be pressed much so I have the seat back towards the rear which helps as well. I guess if I were doing track or serious driving I’d move up. For daily I’m ok with it. Just my 2 cents

Sean Greor is 6'6 I believe and uses the seat anglers. He loves them.

Several people tried them in my GT4 and most liked the change in seat angle.

With trackspec, can one still raise or lower the LWB normally? Thanks!

Mine are installed and I’m VERY pleased with the result.
Quality of the part is top notch.
Easy installation.
Seat angle is comfortable.
Customer service was excellent. Great communication. Fast shipping.

No hesitation recommending.

Seems like a decent product. I’m glad there are options out there. For me, the stock seat position has never been a problem on the street or on the track. Maybe if someone has the recliners installed on their car in the DFW area I’ll try them out...

They are surprisingly quite different considering they seek to do the same thing.
Also AutoQuest version are steel whereas the TrackSpec version appears to be aluminum. This could compromise seat integrity in the event of a crash.

I am one of the few that installed them and them pulled them out. I didn't like the reclined angled. Just personal preference.

I have both the Autoquest and Trackspec products. Are you saying that you have empirical evidence that the Trackspec product could case a structural integrity issue in the event of a crash?

Nope. I'm questioning whether aluminum, which is the material used for Trackspec, would be as strong as the steel Autoquest items in the event of a crash. Presumably Porsche chose steel over aluminum for the seat sliders and attachments for a reason.

Depends on the type of aluminum they use..

Yep. And angle of impact. Speed at impact. Weight of passenger.

And what role does the increased length of autoquest part play in deformation. and what kind of steel is the autoquest product?

So many questions...
