Totally OT but sobering bringing truly important things into focus
Just received a call that a close friend and former client passed away last night of a heart attack. 57 years old. Great guy. Car guy and the type who was always there for you. Left a wife and two daughters behind.
Hurts.
Enjoy life, enjoy what you have. All these cars regardless of generation are fantastic cars and we are whinning about first world problems worrying about getting an allocation for a .2 that will be 10 seconds faster at the Ring than a .1 .
Puts really important things into focus. If you can't get an allocation for the next best enjoy what you have and the sunshine.

Well said, and a good reminder that tomorrow is not a promise. I'm far too guilty at times of worrying about the future, and in doing so, detracting from the present.

important things
Sorry to hear about your buddy Waxer. Recently a childhood pal of mine suffered a traumatic brain injury while racing his motorcycle in a sanctioned event. In an instant, his life, and the lives of his family and his friends were changed forever. Life is precious, thanks for the reminder.

Sobering, and at the same time cause to go and enjoy what you have.

Sorry for the loss of your friend Waxer.
Enjoy today, who knows what tomorrow brings.
Also, as much as we love our obsession with cars, it's more important to ensure our dependants are taken care of first.

Sorry to hear. Certainly puts things in perspective
It has always been my greatest fear being that i had my 8 year old Son late in life. I just want to see him grow up in to a Man and be a positive Contributor to society. Life is precious, should not be taken for granted, and we all should appreciate the things we have.
When I lost my Brother, 3 years ago, who was 2 years younger; my Best Friend sicne I was 4 years old called and asked me what he could do for me. I told him to hug his Bothers and Sisters the next time he sees them and tell them how much you love them. You just never know
