Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, and thanks for the reminder I bet most of us could use from time to time not to sweat the small things and realize how fortunate we are

Sorry for the loss. I think sometimes we can forget about how fragile and random we are. Best to enjoy life the best we can and try and spread a little bit of happiness.

Sorry for your loss Waxer. It reminds us to appreciate the loved ones/family in our lives as that's what matters most.

RIP for your friend Waxer. My daughter and I googled an old friend from medical school the other night. ' Gee dad I think this is his obituary'. RIP JS. I've thought a lot about him the last few days

Sad news, 57 is too young.
That’s an in your face reality check for us all.
life is fragile with zero guarantees of time left.
thus don’t wait for tomorrow if you can do it today.
i took delivery of my 18 PTS GT3 today,...it was great today!

Really understand what you are feeling. Had a friend of mine take early retirement. He postponed his pension for a few years and was living out of his savings while allowing the pension to grow. Passed away playing tennis six months BEFORE his pension was due to start. Live life fully as nothing is guaranteed going forward. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss Waxer. Always good to keep it all in perspective and be thankful for today. It's all we have. Cars are fun and enjoyable at times, but life.....so much better.

Sorry for your loss, never been truer words spoken about the value of time.

"yesterday's history, tomorrow's and mystery, today is present, i guess thats why we call it a gift" or something like that....this thread brought that to mind
