Default Some noob questions with a new order

So I was lucky enough to have the the first world problem of getting a GT3 allocation. Spec'd a manual, sport buckets, white gauges. Got the red seatbelt and red stitking. All my fun cars have red seatbelts/stitching/calipers (2012 Porsche Cayman R and 2013 AMG C63 BS) so it is kind of the signature look for the stable. Wondering if the it ends up being too much red with the big stripes down the sport bucket seats. The interior trim is extend leather and carbon fiber package. Wish I did not have to wait 6 months to get the car and second guess my choices. Cheers all

Same interior as mine. Wouldn't change a thing. The red stripes look better in person than photos.
I don't think I've ever seen a Cayman R with red stitching. Keeping that one too?

Congrats on the allocation, post up your code on here so we can look at it and chime in with our opinions, but at the end of the day it's your car spec it how you like

You can delete the stripes on the alcantara insert in your LWBS if you elect for deviated stitching

had the same interior options at first but after seeing the GR car at PECLA, changed back to the standard black ones. The stripe on the seat turned out to be a nice touch in person and that was enough red for the interior. From what I read on here, the colored seat belts show dirt/wear with time and usage.

Got the white face gauges on my GT3, and TBH wish I hadn't. Not a big deal, but since all the indicator lights are black when off, you see all of them all the time. Makes the gauge cluster look very busy.

And now that I've had a chance to get one, here's a picture for anyone interested.

Interesting that you would say that. I have the standard face, and the dial numbers kinda blend into the background at dusk before the lights go on. Now I don't feel so bad not ordering the white face.

To the OP: seems you like red accents, so whether too much or not is totally up to you. I like my cars more understated, so I wouldn't have gone with all the red in the first place. But that's me. Congrats on getting an allocation!

actually you or correct. The cayman r has red door pulls. Seat belts and calipers. Not stitching

It will look good all red, I would just consider the removal of the white dial also, it's too busy. I drove my friend's .2 GT3 and it was kind of annoying

And in real life (red dial is not bad actually!):
