My ultimate question to you guys and myself is....is the RS really worth the premium for someone that's not a pro driver? I mean, you can get a pretty fun car with the extra $100K CDN price difference on the RS.

Thanks!

I follow this guy on youtube and he made the jump from a 991.1 GT3 to 991.1 GT3RS recently. He's made lots of GT3/GT3RS vids, but these seem relevant to your question:

What I find troubling is 991 RS variants without key options such as PCCB nor axle lift

If you spec and RS do it correctly!

I do however understand folks like to track hence steel, I just would not compromise now that I have driven a PCCB equipped model.

I feel the GT3 is daily driver friendly, it blends into scenery

The RS - that's like walking down the street naked! Ha

Besides the fact I can't swing an RS right now, I feel the Gt3 holds TREMENDOUS Value with the 10 year warranty! For the $200K plus price tag it opens the door to a lot of other options for cars and other manufacturers!

Did someone whisper McLaren

That's the thing....the GT3 range...seems to be in a range of it's own. Once you go the RS range, the spectrum of car selection seems to widen.

IMO
The 3.1 is a great value right now. Truth be told there is very little difference in the driving experience. Both feel like you are inside a rocket and you don't drive it but you aim it.Both are very capable on track ,and the key there is the driver's ability.
Of course the RS has more Wow factor.
