From another thread it looks like there will only be about 1500 units world wide, 750 for Europe 750 ROW. With these low of numbers I don't think we will see anywhere near of "homeless" cars sitting on the showroom floor like the .1 RS.

There was so much hype around .1 3RS that everyone and their brother wanted that car when it first came out. It was the first RS in 5 years so people were itching for it. Porsche saw the crazy demand and responded with a 2nd round of allocations. This dumped a bunch cars in the market a year after the hype, that was a bad move...IMO. supply and demand, now you have 15-30 3RS on ebay at any given time.

The GT2 RS is no doubt a special car, I just hope Porsche learned their lesion from the .1 RS and doesn't give into all of the beggars (I was one of them) that want a car. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...a-radical.html

Yup, that was a couple of months ago. As of a month ago it went up to $150k (good friend went in at that price), and just yesterday I heard of an available one at $175k.

Conversely my small local dealership that doesn't get many allocations of any GT cars, has had people calling/walking in and offering up to 200K if they could get them one.

I think what happened is that a lot of people were hopeful that Porsche will build these in 991.1 3RS numbers and were waiting for the ADMs to come down accordingly. Now it looks that Porsche will really not build that many so there's a lot more people rushing to try and secure one, hence the recent uptick in ADMs. The truth is that we still don't know how many Porsche will build, so if anyone is paying a high ADM then hopefully they're doing it because of their love for this car, because if they're counting on driving the car 500 miles for six months and still make a profit, they might be sorely disappointed.

That may be true as well...glad that I have ZERO interest in the car, I'll be happy with a lowly .2GT3RS allocation. haha

Which, in all likelihood , means you've paid the dealer the ADM a long time ago.

Me too. Can't say I have zero interest in the car but would settle for an .2GT3RS. LOL.

Some point more special cars than customers.

2RS will be dust collectors showroom or garage - 3RS is the drivers car.

The conventional wisdom.

Wasn't this said about the GT3? I recall there were impossibly long dealer lists, and, all kinds of hand wringing over meager supplies. And yet the car, somehow, managed to appear "on the ground" in showrooms - for sale. Lots of showrooms.

Could it be, this time, the GT2 RS is that one really, really, special car where it wont happen? And it'll go directly from boat to garage.

If P keeps the numbers on the lower side, then it will be a "special car", but if they decide to do a 2nd allocation (like the .1 3RS) and put 1-2K more cars in the market then it will be a showroom queen...... which I don't think they will..IMO

I know of a GT2 RS allocation that was just sold yesterday for 200k over.

Take it for what it's worth.

Insane, my GT3 wasn't even $200k. I guess to that buyer a $200k ADM is like a $200 ADM to me. More power to that buyer.

Yup.

Everyone here complaining about ADMs all sound like Ferrari owners. On a Pagani forum.
