^ Agreed... Once the car has been delivered to its proud owner, the owner needs to register via Porsche Car Connect. An installation code is issued to the new owner. The dealer needs to activate PCC by using the customer sourced code. I'm told it takes about 45 mins for the dealer to complete. PCC allows you to locate your car, lock doors, windows, track mileage, etc. I just registered mine.

BMW has the same app. I like the Apps but wouldn't rely on them for tracking a stolen car.

Bet it was just a joyrider, similar to the nut that stole Guy Fieri's Lambo a few years back.
