OT: Another Defection
Similar to other recent posts, making the transition from tracking GT3/GT3 RS to a Radical:
As you'll see from the pics the car is nearly ready for shipment. Hopefully arrives in the States in less than a week.
Very excited to make this move. I'll miss the turnkey nature of the RS but I think the rewards of the Radical will make the extra hassle worth it.
- SR3 RSX w/ the 1340 cc motor
- LHD w/ passenger seat
- Paddle shift
- Fuel cell
- Intrax suspension
- AIM system
- etc.

Nice! Been there, have the T-shirt.
Once you have experienced cornering downforce G's you will be spoiled for anything else, including tracking Porsche.
Great cars, tons of fun and relatively low cash burn compared to tracking big heavy GT cars.

Smart move. This PAG allocation and adm nonsense has me thinking of bailing and of going backwards to a classic ride and saying good bye to the rat race and money burn to have the latest and greatest.

I couldn't agree more. I don't see going 150 mph without full safety gear.
I have a gt3 on the way but my 944 LS3 conversion is what will see the track.
Im building a 2009 Z06 , 2900 expected weight with the LS7 600 hp
Full cage fire system 6 point harness.
It's less stressful driving a full race prepped car.

I think it makes sense because I have always considered the GT cars primarily street cars suitable for frequent track duty. They are not race cars. GT stil stands for Gran Turismo. Like the color scheme. Financial argument also makes a lot sense. Cool car!

Thanks all. I'll update post periodically with actual results to see if this works out well or not.
I'm hoping that Radical develops a bit more momentum. There isn't a vibrant on-line community to discuss the cars as of yet.
