Default PCNA to delay GT3 Production?

Just got a call from my SA and he was informed by PCNA that GT3 production is being delayed. My original planned euro delivery of 5/14 on a March build car is now being pushed out to mid-July.
He said this affects all GT3's planned for production. So has anyone heard about this delay, what is causing it, etc? There goes my summer plans!

Sorry. That really sucks. Hopefully a cleaning lady can explain why.

My car was due for factory completion on 6th April...I am in the UK. My OPC was told earlier this week to expect delays on all 911 production, that hasn’t fed through onto computer systems in terms of dates being moved back but they’re expecting it. It seems to be parts availability especially on optional extras.

That is just a ridiculous statement. It has nothing to do with any of that.

Damn! Just checked my build progress and it moved up a couple of weeks. Sounds like it might be a head fake!

I've definitely see a lot of RL members post about their builds getting delayed/pushed back recently, something must be going on inside the sausage factory

If this is true, late 2018 builds (like mine) will be pushed into 2019. BTW, I’ve heard some rumors lately about 2019 production back on the table. Just rumors! At this point, I believe nothing about Porsche’s GT cars...

Hmmm, you are making me nervous! I have a confirmed delivery in Leipzig on 5/14. Have you already purchased your plane tickets? I have. Wonder how that might work. I have heard nothing from my SA but in all honesty he is quite a douche so no surprise to the 'radio silence' if this is actually happening.

Correction, I'm 5/16- Leipzig we fly out on the 14th. . I have a 4/3/18 lock and a completed build date in mid April. Did Jamie or anybody else @ PCNA confirm that you were 'LOCKED' on your May 14 Delivery?

I was confirmed with PCNA for european delivery (Alexander Folz) on February 16th for my delivery date of 5/14/18 at 8am in Zuffenhausen.
I got this call directly from my SA who has been great with me and worked with him almost 2 years planning for this car.
My car is scheduled for production completion 3/23.
