PCNA to delay GT3 Production?

No idea... Not sure if it is related, but my car started production on 2/4/18. It is still V260. The GM of my dealership called PAG the other day and was told that they are awaiting some parts and that 3/23 is now the anticipated completion date. It went into production, was supposed to complete 2/9, then after it entered production it went to 2/16 then 3/3 now 3/23. So it's sitting there, half baked. Hoping it truly completes by 3/23, then there is an outside chance it catches a ride over and is here in time for Smokies on 4/26.

Just got off the phone with PCNA. Apparently the delay is part of corporate strategy. Porsche will soon announce a new exclusive delivery program. For a cost of $7450, you pick what date you want your car and Porsche will guarantee delivery within 12 hours of said date.

My order froze a few days ago. And I have an expected dealer delivery date of May 25th. When does production typically start? I'm waiting on order tracking/production schedule from my dealer. But historically, when might I expect production to begin?

Good Morning,
The only delays we have been notified about were on the "touring pkg" option. That has now been cleared.
Your GT3 is currently in production and will be completed next week.
Have a good weekend!

Apparently the uptake of Exclusive options (the ones on the configurator not genuine CXX one’s) is at unprecedented levels and that seems to be causing a lot of the issues. When you see how they fit these options it’s maybe not a surprise there are delays. I suspect there’s a very big car park full of complete cars waiting to go to Exclusive to get a couple of options fitted.

My build was originally set for Feb, then March, then April, now July 27th as of a few days ago. I have made no changes to the order since I placed the order in June 2017. PTS car with no CXX.
