Hello guys

Porsche has announced officially that they wont produce to public or approve GT2RS PTS with WP, its petty shame to know how porsche is getting all confused and cancelling fans orders but what to say! where other brands will do you anything you want at certain price.

therefore the question here for everyone, if its your choice:

1: GT2RS with PTS without Weissach Package
2: GT2RS without PTS with Weissach Package

lets see everyones opinion and why

I would go with the first option because PTS is unique and it can make the difference because it i made according to your taste plus the fact that the WP you can 'install' it later on if you want it.

This is somewhat misleading. There are GT2RS vehicles being delivered with both PTS & WP for owners who had early orders. Porsche have only recently stopped doing both PTS & WP together due to production constraints (as per numerous other threads on this topic).

I interprete the OP question as he is well aware of this and maybe his got an allocation and is looking for guidance from fellow RL's.

PTS would be more special for me than WP.

I'd do "without PTS with WP": To me it is the WP paint scheme that defines the GT2RS looks.

Maybe PTS if I can get the hood painted too -> GT2RS sleeper

i'm not misleading, i asked the same to porsche and they mentioned all cars that i have seen with WP and PTS are porsche ownership cars and they are done for projects reasons, no customers had received one, if yes let us see some photos.

at the moment, this is the option on the table, PTS is closed and if maybe given to certain clients only but without WP.

FWIW: I know of one car with PTS+WP. Will be built in April. (Early order).

GT3 RS? PTS (or Guards Red) w/o WP.

GT2 RS? WP kind of part of the point of the car, and looks better also. Mine would be Black/black. Maybe wrapped later, but they look great in black.

I ordered my 2 RS with WP in Guards Red. I'll try to do PTS on the 3 RS again, but agree with others that the WP on the 2 RS is really a bigger part of the car.

There will indeed be customer PTS WP cars. Not many, but there will be. Keep your eyes peeled to my page in mid-year.

Easy question for me. Pay extra for paint that does nothing for performance? Not a chance.
Get the exclusive WP - absolutely without a question or doubt. Would be even more of a no-brainer if the clubsport components were allowed in the US.

PTS without WP for me. From what I hear PTS will be less than 5%. Most guys denied PTS and WP are just going for a Black WP car. Absolutely gorgeous and can't go wrong, but personally I prefer the look of the non-WP car, and PTS gives that added personalization and uniqueness.

PTS...and it's not close. WP is awesome but anyone with an allocation can get it. PTS is far more exclusive and personal.
