I will admit; when I ordered my car I really did not like the stripes. After I received my car I quickly changed my mind. My RS obviously doesn't have stripes and those seats look a little plain now. Verdict is: I like the stripes a lot more than I anticipated I would.
Sorry to divert off-topic in your thread. These cushions are awesome. I'd like to do something for my RS! Please contact me!

Wow the houndstooth is a really nice touch and ties in with the car well, I'm with the OP that I really am not a fan of the stripe on the .2 LWBS personally
Curious on other examples Rstrada has done, I'm interested..

FWIW, folks who haven’t locked in their builds yet: you can get rid of the stripes ‘cheaply’ by getting deviated stitching in a color other than red or platinum silver. I went with ‘chalk’ stitching after looking at the spoils of thread — couldn’t tell a difference between platinum. It much cheaper than going the CXX route to get rid of the stripes.
btw, OP, awesome inserts. ‘Love ‘em.

Yikes! Not a fan of the red plaid, hounds-tooth or whatever you call it.
At least you don't have to look at it while seated!
Initially, I did not like the stripes in photos, but in real life they are not bad at all. And, not visible while seated, so it really doesn't matter.
Go with what makes you happy & enjoy!
