Do you have to remove a diffuser to diagnose an oil leak for GT3RS?

You can use a rag with a coat hanger to sweep the tray.

Yes, that is a drip caused by an oil tube located above the crankshaft pulley, and it slings/drips (slowly) on the diffuser pan.

Best Regards,
Dave

My Spec. May 2019 delivery. No more carbon hood available for the moment. But MG wheels are back. Very good thing about weight.

I think you're the interesting one Smookey as you're the only person in Europe on this forum with a 2019 allocation. Can you tell us any more about it? Presumably it has a particulate filter? Again no one has had confirmation that PF equipped cars have been signed off yet. Maybe there is hope for the rest of us Europeans as so far it's crickets for round 2. Is Luxembourg different? Or did you move to the states 3 years ago?

Well, my order is taken in Belgium. My dealer insured me a Slot for April/May. I have an order number. After that, i can not tell you much more than this unfortunatly.
I've planed to go to the Porsche dealer i deal with on January. I swear i'll obtain more informations.
Of course i'll bring them here when i'll can give RL precise informations which could help.

This is the best spec I have seen to date. tbh, I dont like the carbon hood. Silver mag wheels on PCCB yellows and miami blue is just too awesome. WOW, even better than my future spec but at least proly 40k more

What do people think regarding '19 builds? Seems like many were expecting a 2nd round similar in size to the 1st but instead its been singles have been trickling in here and there.

While some report allocations as far out as may '19...some of the top dealers in the US (like Porsche Beverly Hills) has so far received zero builds for '19.

correct; my dealer is also BH and with the added response from RL doesn’t sound like any GT3/RS production past Q1. They produced plenty of GT in that time regardless, no need to dilute the market.

2019 Speedster - 1,948 / 680
2019 GT3RS - 4,500 / 1,585
18/19 GT2RS - 2,850 / 1,000
18/19 GT3 - 9,000 / 3,150
2016 911R - 991 / 323
2016 GT3RS - 4,500 / 1,529
14-16 GT3 - 6,211 / 2,133
991 GT = ~30k WW est. / ~10.4k NA est

Yeah I mean, people are acting like they are cutting off the N.A. market prematurely on GT cars...

HAVE YOU SEEN HOW MANY GT3's ARE FOR SALE?!?!?!?! If you are worried about gt3 adm's. Just wait 2-3 months. Adm's will be non existent come March on gt3's. That is not a guess it is common sense supply and demand and supply is clearly outpacing demand at the moment. idgaf what options you have, every GT they made a **** ton of. The dealers are loving it, the customers who want the car because of the car are loving it. Other than flippers, I think everyone is going to be happy. This is literally what Porsche was supposed to do... MISSION SUCCESSFUL!

From where come this data? We have seen others on this forum with no comparaison...for gt3rs.2 Europe deliveries were on a short period (March to end of July) and wlth very few allocations compared with .1...at least 2 times less!

We have been talking to all the cleaning ladies and cross referencing their data with the janitors and it all seems to be checking out.

Nah, there are a couple guys here that are literally pulling every VIN, it does not get much more accurate than that. If you were Porsche you would build as many of these as possible too. There are a ton of 3rs being built, they are not "rare" and that is coming from someone who has one on order buying one. Gt2rs arent even rare, every dealer in u.s. has an allocation readily available. They did it right for the people who want to drive, only reason I could see them holding back anything in Europe is demand and emissions issues.
