Buckle Up.

I don't believe allocations are rolled out nationally. Rather dealers in different regions can get them at different times.

Sorry guys I was at Sebring.
Prepare for shenanigans as units are 2018 builds so far and we have a projected 2019 allocation as well included in that. Dealers will most likely be across the board dissatisfied with their allocations which is why I said buckle up. |
My dealer called yesterday, very excited to confirm my allocation. So as usual CJ is right, dealers have been notified (but he should know being a dealer!) |
Congrats to those that have received or will be receiving an allocation. These could actually be the last for the NA RSs but I sure do hope Owners drive and enjoy these rather hope they will cash in down the road

CJ is misreading his own allocation sheet. GT cars represent a very small, single digit percentage of new car sales - always has been and always will. |

I think he said 2018 builds, not MY cars. I think it's you that is misreading.
Every Porsche model of a particular model year crosses the calendar year. Every single model. Why would there be shenanigans because production crossed from December into January on this particular one? It does EVERY year. |
I guess i interpreted CJ’s comment to mean that there will not be that many allocations, but honestly i haven’t been following this thread very much. |
I think that buckle up and shenanigans means questionable dealership practices and flipper games. This is unrelated to PAG or PCNA. |
Sheesh ... paging CJ to clarify the clarification. :)

Was at dealer yesterday. They were told Friday afternoon that allocations for RS would be coming by end of day this past Friday. Nothing came through so they are expecting Monday as the day. Obvi this could change too but fingers crossed it is Monday for all US dealers. Really curious if any NON-VIP (918 owners) allocations will have a build date that is prior to the factory shutting down or after. I think most VIP cars are being built in July for Sept delivery. That would not leave much time if any so thinking non-VIP allocations will have build dates starting in Sept/Oct. Is this what you guys are thinking and/or hearing? |
