Miami Blue's in California - 991.2 GT3 + TECHART + HRE + AWE - TAG Motorsports
Some of you might have seen the Miami Blue GT3 we posted 2 weeks ago on Vossens. Well in true TAG fashion, its back with some new shoes for March! We just had to share the updates on this beautiful combo.
To recap the build, we started by digging into the TechArt program for the new 991.2 GT3. TechArt’s Front lip, Rear Diffusor, Front Airblade, Rear Winglets, and Rear Air Intakes were all installed in gloss carbon fiber finish. These TechArt Carbon Fiber pieces are available in gloss or matte finishes. They are a nice subtle and attention to detail touch that compliments the GT3’s great styling. AWE tuning wind foils were added, as it is an affordable mod we highly recommend on any 991.
Also from AWE tuning as their switchpath Exhaust System which gave the GT3 some gains in power and responsiveness as well as an aggressive tone that is well suited for this animal.
This time around we went with HRE’s R101LW wheel. This wheel was developed with motorsports and track pedigree for the high-performance car. This wheel is for the person that wants no compromise on strength and weight savings to get more performance out of their car but with style. They sure didn’t compromise on style, because this wheel is just beautifully clean, simple and spot on. These wheels have been a favorite with our customers in the GT3, M3, McLaren, and Lamborghini markets, and we believe that they are a perfect fit for these type of cars. We went with 20” fitment and Frozen Stone Clear as the finish of choice. The highly coveted Trofeo R tires were chosen as well for a “no f’n around” set-up. We included some pictures so you can get an idea of how much this set-up weighs. OEM 911R centercaps were added as a nice finishing touch to the wheel set up.
The color combo is spot on, and really shows this Miami Blue works well with many different wheel colors and finishes. Look for more soon!
