Default Any .2 GT3's with long tube race headers and no CEL's?

Just checking to see if anyone has a .2 GT3 with, any brand, long tube race headers(non catted) and doesn't throw a CEL. It seems like the .2's ECU is very sensitive, more so than the .1 3/RS and will throw a CEL without some kind of tune when these type of headers are installed. Anyone even have these type of headers and a tune? I know of many .1's out there with various brand systems and zero issues but the .2's I am unsure of.

I have Dundon Race header on my 991.2 GT3, over 600 miles no problem so far.

Thanks, good to know. Thinking about pulling the trigger with some Dundon LTH's.

I'm guessing not too many .2's with long tube headers, mostly center muffler delete pipes.

i am waiting to hit some miles and either am getting the fabspeed catless or dundon. I cant believe there is a major difference. I think they sound better and transition the valves better than a bypass. there is a 1500 difference between the two, but the CEL is a major issue. my dealer will cover under warranty as long an no tune changes. would love to hear from other 991.2 gt3 owners with either thanks

Do you plan to track the car?

FYI I had catlesd Cartek race headers on my GT4. When my gearbox failed my dealer and PCNA had zero issue with warrantying the work.

If you plan to run catlesd headers I would plan to run spacers on the rear O2. If you track the car plan for a CEL. It will happen over time.

Also so if you plan to track the car with catless long tubes plan to replace your rear muffler. The exhaust pulses and heat cycles will blow out the welds on the stock muffler over time.

My recommendation is the Dundon catted long tube setup and their lifetime rear muffler.

Chris.

I thought you told me the Fabspeed race headers were amazing and you had no CEL? Now you are considering Dundon? Why the change of heart? This is the exact reason I wanted to be careful and ask a lot of questioms before purchasing.

I've had Dundon headers on my GT4 for a year and 8000.miles. Track and both Smokies 17 events with zero CELs.

Dundons all the way. They build outstanding products for 997 GT3, 991 GT3 and GT4

Did you install a 991.1 version or did they already come out with the 991.2 version? I’m sure the brackets are pretty much the same, but they’re suppose to come out with a new diffuser...

Bump. Anyone else running race headers on a .2 GT3 without CEL's?

I’m surprised we haven’t seen more threads about LTH on .2 GT3s... I have both on the way, but my car won’t arrive until September.
Would love to see before/after dynos with LTH on the new motor.
