Default Possible special RS a la 997 RS 4.0?

To all those with ears in the right places, have there been any hints of a special end of 991 RS kind of like the 997 RS 4.0?

4.2L will never happen. Why do people keep repeating this nonsense?

Porsche has never put a larger displacement engine in a road car than it makes for a race car, and the max displacement of all current Porsche race cars is 4.0L

Couldn't have said it better; 4.2L speculation bespeaks ignorance

No way a LE .2RS...the limited one will be a speedster. Let me non-mortals fight it out for one, ZERO interest in that car for me....no wing = no care!

i could imagine another limited next to the speedster. a coupe and a speedster. you have to milk us cows! why porsche should not think like this?
Turbo limited done.
Cabrio limited will be done.
RS - what is the absolut definition of Porsche - have to come one too.

but as long it will be slower than .2GT3RS - also not much care from my side.
just if it will be absolute stripped down. minus 100kg, super cool heritage looks, don´t care further if a bit less power than .2GT3RS - but so you get an even better driving (not lapping) experience - i could want one. but it would have to be more than fine tuning as it was with the R. (if we comparing it now against .2GT3. if we look at the R back in time as it was presented. we all know why ppl were paying 500k for those)

a real good R RS - i would fight for one.
maybe even would sell/offer the .2GT3RS for one. as long the .2GT3RS will be my car for the soul. if you get/have also a dedicated Turbo track car.
