Default what brake rotors are these?

Still on the hunt for a 991.1 GT3 and ran across one that the dealer said was babied but it has these rotors on it and different pads which obviously leads me to believe its been ridden hard. Car only has @8K miles on it. Thoughts?

I believe they are Brembo's.

The rears look just like my Brembo type 3 rotors. Don't know what the fronts are.

Thanks, was mainly confirming they aren't stock.. As in, car probably wasn't "babied". I wouldnt think the original rotors were worn out by 8k miles and replaced with these unless someone was putting a lot a track miles on this car...

Fronts are Brembo Type V and rears are Brembo Type III. I think your theory is probably right...

That is hard to say though since people like to do upgrades for no reason, but you are probably right.

You're spot on.. probably a well used track car. Dealer will tell you anything and everything.. also he would have no idea if it was "babied".. what a pile of steaming...

Probably not babied but then again these cars are built to run hard....if you find a fair priced car with desired specs I would move on it.....

track cars get tracked...

as is their purpose

of course there are some bubble wrapped queens (if that's what you want) - easy to find, but don't expect to shop on price

Look like Endless pads, your go-to pad for easy Sunday drives. Calipers are still red and not zinfandel so that's a good sign.

Just ask for a DME report... That will tell you everything you need to know.

As long as you know why you're purchasing and the price reflects it, you're good. It's the dealer lying through his teeth that makes you want to punch him in the face. (That feeling applies to all dishonest people in my book)

Agree and those are excellent rotors (and Endless pads are excellent too). Probably has some top notch brake fluid too and maybe caliper studs (replacing stock bolts).
