Touring... Any Material Difference(s)
I think this warrants a thread because there's speculation by others that the Touring has differences in sound quality.
I'm certain that if Porsche's made non-cosmetic changes other than aero, everyone would like to know about it.
I don't believe this is the case but have to put it out there to get more definitive answers.
Does the Touring exhaust sound differently.
If so, why?
And are there any other mechanical differences?
I'd appreciate hearing only from those who have first-hand experience with both cars.

Zero difference between the touring and the regular GT3. No difference on the steering, suspension or any reduction in sound insulation between the two. It's purely cosmetic aesthetics.

Tyres (Dunlop or Michelin) may make a difference to ride and steering.
A friend of mine's arrived on Dunlops, and he was hoping for Michelins, which he had on his 991.1 GT3 - but now tells me he's delighted with the Dunlops, which he finds very comfortable and more secure in the wet.

I plan to do a more direct comparison of the differences between my GT3 PDK and GT3T by running the two cars over the same road on the same day back to back to make sure that the differences I called out on are not in my head. But I wont get a chance to that for another two weeks.

"It's an appearance package."
—Porsche engineer.
I drove the Touring on snow tires, so there's that. But, accounting for that, it sure drove like the GT3 6MT I drove last summer in/around Weissach. If there are experiential differences from behind the wheel, I suspect they are so small that I'd need to drive both cars on the same day and roads to sort them. I also suspect they'd come down to spec, tires, and maybe the lack of a rear wing alters the acoustics reflected back—though said acoustic alterations would have to translate through glass if the windows are up.
We humans are funny beasts, however. Porschephiles, even funnier. I constantly check myself when I "perceive" a difference while road testing.

Both tires are very good. I have heard Dunlops just a tad better for the street and the Mich just a tad for the track. I ended up with Mich but would of liked Dunlops so I could of compared on the Street

Is PET up for the touring yet? That would answer clearly all of our questions as to whether anything changed in the suspension or elsewhere. As far as I can tell it is the wing (and associated intake changes) and cosmetics.
