It's pretty academic. Very few will get a 2RS allocation. A few more will get a a 3RS allocation. How many people would aggressively track a 325K car? At 325K there are a lot of choices.

I think that I will have plenty of visceral expirience with 700hp on the track.
Screaming at 9k rpm and pissing people off is another story and there is fun in that. On a serious note its hard not to enjoy the row revs up to 9k in our engines. That is one single bit that seals the deal on the 991 gt3 & rs for me.

Thanks a lot for your coment

Math is simple: TQ+HP=2RS

Not many places on street where you can rip 9k. Torque will make low-speed street driving a lot more fun, as well as being more tractable. On track more is always better full stop..

on the track you will be faster with the 2RS.
but maybe more fun its with the 3RS if you love NA and want to learn clean driving.
just if you want to be scared also - than choose the 2RS for the track.

if cars&coffee is fun for you. choose 2RS.
otherwise i would go 3RS in your daily + track request.

always in the back of the mind. that a GT2RS have a twice as high market value.

I have done lots of track work in my time with turbos and gt3 rs is my first NA car. I am definitely loving the NA game but finding a quite a bit to slow on strights. Geting pass or letting others pass me on main straights and than when we are in the braking zone I am up theirs rear again. Than pushing tham out of my way in the corners and eventually over taking them.
Than here comes the stright again.
When I think of the maine strigts I want Gt2rs and when I think of the technical sections I want Gt3rs.
Cars and coffee not my time.
I can drive both cars on the street's but I understand that 3rs will be more desirable.
I my sound a little lost and that is way I ask you guys for your opinions.

Thank you joker for your comments...

I appreciate the theoretical approach and thanks for that answer.
Although, if I was to take that approach I should of not buy the current 3RS that I have and still trash my previous track car. It was a porsche and plenty fast and competitive with even younger generation cars.
But some of us want more faster again.

Let's keep it in the Porsche familly.
The ones that can afford to do so.
What are the other choices.
Sorry not traying to be smart here but we want Porsche here.
Gt2 rs vs Gt3 rs 991.2 same money and both available to you.
which one is more desirable for track work and your weekend fun what ever that is for some.

Nizer,
I also like that answer and it does make sense to me.
Still not fully convinced that gt2rs will be a aaaaa......
I was going to say a logical choice.
But I am not looking for a logical choise here.
Logical choice would be to buy a cup car and keep what I have for the weekend use.
I am still not convinced that gt2 rs will bring the satisfaction that the new GT3 RS potentially will.

I agree 100% with you there.
If looks only counts Gt3rs
If power and torque only counts Gt2rs
Why such a comparisons?
Becose this will be my only performance car I will have.

Curious how you able to purchase either car for same cost? If it was me and had to choose one it will be GT2 RS its just more special and badass.

Derek,
I can not purchase it for the same.
I did not word subject correctly.
sorry for the confusion.
We are just talking if 2 cars costed the same from the Porsche what would be a netural behivour of an enthusiasts out there. Maybe I should not word it as enthusiasts but more on the border of a track junkie lol.

Thanks for the replay
