I love this thread, cant wait to get my car & follow suit

Im surprised you are having no issues with Cup2s in Colorado but I assume you aren't doing winter driving in them, have you considered switching to MPS4S? I would be slightly concerned in wet and cold conditions for the Cup2s how squirrely they would get... and do you have LWBS or 4/18 way in your .1?

It was 71 in Denver the other day. Plenty of sun and warm weather days through winter.

I run Cup2s with no concern, but I also don’t go for a drive if it looks like it may snow/rain. I’d imagine Rob does the same.

Samp....my last P car a 997.2 4s
I had put a second set of wheels for and had mount 245/325 19s cup tires
When got ready to sell the car I put a set of new Pole potenzas. Bridgestone
It was like a completely different car
Queit soft ride it gave me major withdrawal to part with. I share this I bet less aggressive tire on a new Gt3 would make for a better DD.
Just thinking if not spending time on the track

As buteo said, you pick your days. Today we are supposed to get a little snow so i don’t chance it. The coldest i have driven it was around 30F and the tires were not a problem. If the forecast is rain or snow, i find something else to do! But fortunately we have those 50’s, 60’s and even 70’s days sprinkled throughout our “winters” so no worries. On average at least once a week we can get out. And yes, the next set will be the MPS4S, as i have had Dunlops and Cup 2’s, so i want to try them. I have the 18 ways and think they are awesome. The wife doesn’t complain, even after long drives.

Great pics Rob! This is my favorite thread, driving the car as Dr Porsche intended! I am on the road with you, sort of, on the east coast at 20k and counting. Keep driving!
