Yes, it was very cool. The Scud excels in several areas vs my GT3. The steering is better in the Scud. Much more feel. The sound is better in the Scud. And the sense of occasion is better in the Scud. The transmission is definitely and acquired taste. The PDK is better in every way. And power is better in the GT3, and the interior is better in the GT3, as expected. Today I took the GT3 out and was gone for 4 hours. I could easily extend that to 5 or 6 hours of driving with a lunch stop in between. I think the Scud is a one hour type driving car. Idk why, but i could not see myself taking it to Telluride. Not as comfortable. More race car feel. I think the Scud is a hooligan car. But it is amazing. I need to spend more time with it.
Thinking about a few mods for the car next year. Roll cage is definitely in the cards (in white) plus going to get a new windshield, and possibly get the wheels repainted. I want to get her back to 100% pristine. But she doesn’t look too bad right now, either.
I think it looks fantastic right now. White is such a great GT3 color.
