Mostly canyon runs. Cup 2s get 13-15k miles. Dunlops about 12k.

Rudy’s! If you keep going past the lake we had the picnic at, then head past Pikes Peak, it is on the right. Good place!

Pike's Peak is at approx 14,000 feet. A naturally aspirated engine making 500 bhp at sea level is losing close to 200 bhp at that altitude. That must be noticeable.

I’ve always lived (below) sea level.
i just about keeled over on top and the rental Caddy threw a CEL and limp mode.
Did Rudy’s :-) a lot. Might be related along with my gazelle like physical condition.

I think Rob meant that the motor still ran smoothly and responded immediately to the pedal - there is not much opportunity to deploy more than 250hp on that public road within nearly legal limits (i.e. not on race weekend).

We’re both very well aware of the NA power losses at altitude (which I think you understated, btw)

You got it Grant. As usual, I could not have said it better than you.

Pre-turkey day run? This looks promising.

Outside my home office window! Roads were good. Temps perfect. Car ran great. Only 300 miles shy of 30,000.
