what were the symptoms that made you think of changing them?
Hesitation?

Lack of power. Hesitation. Floored it and it felt like a 930 Turbo without the turbo. Started with a bit of a stumble a few months ago, and progressively got worse. Also the engine was running rougher. Now it is like a kitten.

I do new plugs every 6000 miles and belts 12,000
Before I did 12,000 and 24,000 and it wasn't pretty. plugs burned up and belt split in half.

Grant I was doing my plugs annually, but Peter was right to do them more often. Now I will do them when the engine starts to miss, which is going to be around the 6-9k mile mark. I need to check that belt!
