Bring me up to speed on exhaust / Sharkwerks...etc.

Bring me up to speed on exhaust / Sharkwerks...etc.
OK, I'm a bit confused and have a couple of questions in regards to stock vs aftermarket exhaust.
1. Currently I have stock exhaust, and just from experience, it seems if the sport exhaust button is pushed, this changes the tone of the exhaust when at low RPM's, idling, etc.. But when driving at say above 5K RPM, pushing the button makes no difference. So I'm assuming that past a certain RPM, the exhaust sound is the same with button activated or not. Is this correct?
2. Also, I've been told by a couple sources that if I install a Sharkwerks, that it will sound exactly like stock unless the sport exhaust button is pushed. Is this true? If so, this would be cool, since we plan on taking some road trips and having the option of less cabin noise (drone) when in cruising mode would be nice.
3. Anyone installed a Sharkwerks and then disliked it? or had wife dislike it for trips?
Hoping to hear a Sharkwerks in person.... located near Seattle and hoping someone with a Sharkwerks will show up at cars & coffee this Spring...

Sharkwerks isn't that loud anyways if you just do the center muffler delete honestly, so you'd be safe there. Id check out the AWE exhaust suite for the car too...has a GREAT tone and it's not too loud either.

I have the Sharkwerks center muffler delete and really like it. Come on down to Seattle and hear mine anytime. The other option is to go to a Dundon total exhaust system. I think Jamie has one on his .1 GT3 in Gig Harbor you could listen to.

I have the SW exhaust and have the valves pinned open all the time. So my sports exhaust button doesn’t work. My neighbors love me.

OP, you should go on youtube and watch Obsessed Garage's videos, Matt has a ton of videos talking about different exhausts for theses cars, pros, cons and everything in between.

I had a SW on my .1 and if you are looking to take the volume from a 7 to a 9 with the button the Sharkey will do that. The Sharkey does not really change the tone but the volume it does, which for some is great.
If you looking are for more bass there are others' that change the tone and volume. Different strokes for different folks.

Check out our Valved Side Muffler Bypass Pipes which are a great way to give the car a deeper, more aggressive tone without being too obnoxious or overbearing as you still retain your OEM Cats/Center Muffler. Mates right up to your OEM exhaust and PSE vacuum lines, however we do offer a Valve Controller Kit if you'd like to be in complete control of having the valves opened/closed. Also includes top-of-the-line Helical Valves and sheds approx. 35 pounds from the rear of the car

Rob, any noticeable difference with the valves always open, as in low end torque loss? Or does the cars power delivery act the same.
