Default Recap of our"Winter" Track day @ The Thermal Club.

From the Street to Track.

While we know some people were forced to put cars away for the winter, we are lucky enough to have perfect conditions in December to get out and drive! With only delivery miles on some of them, we were able to dial these cars in with our Signature Competition Setup before coming to the track. Many of these cars have also been outfitted in our GMG safety packages that include Roll/Harness bars & 6 Point FIA harnesses.

The new GMG GT2RS, equipped with our WC Series exhaust and Competition setup was out turning laps. Video does not do this car enough justice! (We will have proper sound video of the exhaust coming shortly for all of those interested)

Feedback between the drivers and our team is only a pit stop away. Being track side is key to delivering the best possible experience to our clients & friends.

A mixed stable.
For some, a track day with GMG is an opportunity to test all of the improvements and setup changes. The team is always looking to improve performance through data and driver feedback.

Thought you were announcing a track day for SoCal RL GT car owners with GMG at Thermal.

Disappointed to see it’s just more advertising on a discussion forum.

Thanks mdrums, I think Drifting is on Santa's naughty list!! LOL

Yes, this post was about our client's having fun at The Thermal Club after varying levels of upgrades that we had performed on their cars. We are very fortunate to have Thermal within 2 hours of our shop that allows us to explore the limits of our Porsches while enjoying the most amazing motorsports facility in the country.

BTW, the GT2RS is an amazing car, one that you can't fully appreciate without a closed course race track. It has SO MUCH torque that at any rpm in any gear, it simply pulls like a freight train!

Cheers!

I see your car hauler is a Kenworth, very nice, now I know you guys make good decisions. No better setup than a KW pulling a few Porsches to the track, but I do have reason to be biased towards the Kenworth.

Well, now I'm curious. What sort of lap times do you see around Thermal North+South in these GT2RS's? I'd have expected mid-2:0x but I can't find any videos; I see GT3s running 2:16 with room for improvement.
