Trade my 2017 R8 V10 Plus for your 2016 RS?
So I have this crazy idea...would anyone be interested in trading their low miles (under 10k) 2016 GT3 RS for my brand new 2017 R8 V10 Plus with ~300 miles on the ODO? I had a 997 GT3 prior to the R8 and I think the 911 itch is hitting me again. Would a straight swap be possible?

Realistically if someone was to be interested, you would be looking at parting with $30 - $40,000 on top of the R8. Possibly more.

Plenty of RS's on dealer lots. I'm certain they would make that trade along with some cash....I would bet good money there's not a single person, or dealer, that would do that trade straight up.....

What color is your R8? We have a GT silver 207k msrp RS

Straight swap for a 991.2 GT3 might be possible.
A GT3RS? Not likely. Unless the R8 had $40k in the trunk. |

With the ADM's going around and high MSRP cars I don't even think that would be possible
If you are certain you are done w the R8 just take the pain now and get out of it for the hit, unfortunately. |
Yep. There's a brand new 2017 R8 V10 Plus at a local dealership for $30k off...
Wow!!!!. It looks like the new R8s and NSXs cars' not doing so well. Just a very crowded field in the $175,000 - $220,000 range with also a boat load of low mileage 458s. And- all the low mileage RSs, as well |
NSX is a total failure because old nsx fans wanted Mid N/A engined lightweight RWD car. Instead they give us AWD, Hybrid, Turbocharged crap that isn't even fast around tracks with acura badge. No thank you.

I looked on autotrader and noticed a few from as low as $208k to $215k for cars with less than 10k miles so this is why I assume it's possible as those are asking. MSRP for my R8 was $206k. I think adding $30k on top would be for cars with under 5k miles. |
