Default How long did your order sit at V070

I have a 2018 GT3 on order. It's been sitting at V070 for two weeks now.
Does that sound normal? I was hoping it would be at V200 by now.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but V070 is not an allocation, just a vehicle demand request in the system. So in essence, they don't have an allocation you yet. And when they do get an allocation, hopefully they do give it to you.

Correct. The number you really want is V200 - Delivery Date Determined or V210 - Change Freeze Point Reached.

I'm curious. How do you know it's at V070? Did your SA tell you that? When you keep asking if it's changed, you'd think they'd have explained to you that it won't just change. They have to get an allocation, and then assign it to you.

Once you actually have an allocation, the status will change as things happen. But as mentioned, V070 isn't an allocation. That will never change on its own.

It's at V110 now. Hopefully that means they have a allocation now.

That's some sort of PTS witchcraft. I don't have anything of value to tell you other than it's better than V070.

Ah, no, sorry to say. I placed my order June 2017. Status was immediately V180. That's a request received and noted by Porsche. Still it's only a request for an allocation, not an allocation. As everyone else has said here, what you want is a V200 status. I got that January 2018. It means that an allocation has been reserved in your name, and there is now a build date and a planned delivery date. Anything less, like a V070 or V110 or V180 does not really mean anything other than a sincere attempt by the dealer to get you an allocation.

Yes and no. Technically until it goes V200 you're right. But when Porsche gives dealers their allocations, those cars sit at V070 until the order is accepted in the system. But Porsche has told the dealer that they are getting the allocations.

Palting I believe v110 and v180 both
Mean you have an allocation. Anything above v070 AND a commission # should mean you have an allocation. V110 means you have something in your order which can't be approv ed by computer and must be hand cleared by PCNA and I believe V180 is approval by PCNA but awaiting approval from Germany. This usually happens with PTS or CXX requests

This is my experience and all of the above may be wrong and Porsche may change it anyway on a whim. Frustrating process to say the least

^^^^ When I got my allocation, the first thing my SA gave me was my comm #. I forget what initial "V status" I had but the comm # was what put my name with a 2018 GT3 allocation in the system that PCNA and my SA could look up.

Commission # I agree is key. If you have that should have a car

My SA provided me with this screen shot of my order. He is positive of the allocation and the September build.
What do you think?

I'm no SA but IMO it looks to me like you should be good to go. You have your Comm #, allocation in 9/2018 and you are "above" V070 status which is essentially just a request to get an allocation. It's easy for any dealer to take your info and throw it in the system and you'll get V070 status as you are 100th in line, but I think V110 is something you get when you are on your way with an actual allocation.

I don't think you should be worried about being at V200 status 7 months before your allocation's scheduled build date, my allocation changed status very quickly in the month leading up to my build date
