Manufacturer of 991 GT3 Wheels

Does anyone know what company is Porsche’s manufacturer of the newer 991 GT3 wheels. It’s been suggested that there might be a manufactures mark somewhere on the rim or barrel. Or if you just happen to know... Thank you!

Thank you! Is the wheel marked as such, or do you know from another source?

Should be stamped on back of the wheel, which means taking off the tire.

Are you sourcing an end around of the dealers' pricing?

can‘t and wont work out.

i tried it ones with cull / rims / parts for the scrap / which gone wrong for kind of adornment. not even this. P business is bigger than the better margin of two sets.

My reason in asking has two motives. First, the manufacturer may, even so, field such orders. Second, to see if I’m alone in my interest in acquireing this style of wheel. And, perhaps, just maybe, if people are interested, Forgeline, et al, will catch wind of a market for this style, and come up with something close.

i’d like the wheels for a 991 TTS. And I need offsets that are different than those for a GT3.

Porsche either trademarked the style, or already have an agreement in place with BBS to be the exclusive recipient of that style. BBS will not break their contract just to sell 4 wheels to you.

Pretty much this. I remember a story about a guy who had a part inside his Aston Martin V8 Vantage transmission break. Rest of the transmission was fine, it was just this ~$50 part he needed. Aston wouldn't sell it to him, they'd only sell him an entire transmission for $20k. So he went to Graziano (the transmission manufacturer) to see if they'd sell the part to him. Nope. They couldn't even sell him the transmission as a whole. Their agreement with Aston forbids it. He found a local machine shop to make the part for ~$800, but still... the point is that Porsche surely has a similar agreement with their suppliers.

Probably true. Makes perfect sense. But it doesn’t hurt to ask. At least, it shouldn’t...

Rotiform makes their PGT custom forged in the USA wheels which mimic the GT style wheels.

Thanks! I’ve got a message into them. Their wheel configuration facility didn’t show them in the list of available styles. I’d like to know about the company as well as that wheel—such as their weight.

I could be wrong but I don't think they make a centerlock version.
