Default .2 GT3 Sub Belt holes

Hey Guys

Does the .2 GT3 have the sub belt holes in the seat and cushion? My car is in storage until the weather clears and I never checked.

Thanks
Jeff

Driver side yes, slot is already both in seat and cushion/cover.
Passenger side cushion has the slot but you will need to make a slice in cover. Should be very easy to precisely trim the necessary slot. Also, you will have to cut the slot in the seat base but there is basically a template there for you.

Passenger's cushion and cover; slot through cushion; cover reinforced already but will need to carefully slice the threading to open the slot. Good luck!

Passenger seat base; trim out the area within the "template"

Driver's cushion and cover; slot already through both.

I used a Fein Tool to cut out the seat hole and then followed up with a good sanding of the rough edge. I would pull out the center section of the seat and take it to an upholster to open and sew the cushion after. You could use the drivers seat as an example. While at the upholster you may want to have some lumbar support material added, this made the seat infinitely more comfortable.

or buy Schroth 4pt belts specific for Porsche carbon buckets....and not chop up your seat, or have lap belt in the way at all times.

As others stated, the passenger seat is not setup for the 6pt harness. I had the mechanic that put in my cage take car of the seat. He took it to an upholster... I wanted it down professionally. Cost was about $75 bucks. Also the mechanic lined the sub structure with a rubber grommets to prevent wear on the seat belts.

1963SWB - Many Thanks - very helpful. No idea why both seats wouldn't come prepped.

Thanks
Jeff

There are many threads that cover this, I used the upholstery U shape clip used on older cars to hold the upholstery to the B pillar. I looked for the picture that I posted but couldn't fine it.
