Default Is 185K for GT3 considered too pricey?

This is my "ideal" configuration.

The following are options:

- PTS Signal Yellow
- Touring Black
- Black Wheel
- Leather/Cloth Interior
- LED PDLS (Still debating Silver vs. Black)
- Manual (Duh)
- Front Axel Lift
- PCCB
- Chrono Package
- Extended Fuel
- Auto dimming mirror
- LWBS
- Smoking/Floor Mat/Luggage Freebies
- Bose
- Steering Column in Leather

I went for Bose only because this is a "touring car" so I guess you'd want some tune while driving in the city. Lol

Total at 185K + NY tax = 200k. Is this TOO MUCH for GT3? It's pretty close to 991.1 GT3 RS range.

Looks good. Nice build. Don’t worry, it’s not too much. I’m at $192,850.00 with delivery and gas guzzler tax (sales tax excluded). Make sure it has everything you want.

It's not bad at all, but how were you planning to get a PTS allocation at MSRP?

Personally I skipped PCCB and LEDs. They're not my cup of tea and I saved $10k or whatnot.

Maybe LED is skippable but I really want to match brake caliper to match exterior color. Pretty stupid reason to throw away 9k

Thank you. This is IF I get approved for PTS.

Great config. Mind if I ask you what PTS color you are going for?

Most people are going for classic color. I wonder if signal yellow counts as one.

Signal Yellow is a historic, classic, and iconic color. Doesn’t get better than that. If I did Signal Yellow, I would have done Touring aluminum trim. I’m doing a newer color, Pure Green. Like Viper, but a bit lighter.

I assume it's the right one? Looks great.

I did ponder about SY + Regular Touring but I just can't do chrome trim.

Thats supposed to be it, although I think that pic is a bit overexposed. I’ve since a litte darker samples depending on the camera and lighting.
Its not chrome like the older models, it’s polished aluminum in the new Touring.

Btw, is Saffron Yellow Metallic acceptable color for PTS?

Yes it's too much for a GT3 but here we are According to the production thread there has been a GT3 MSRP over $200K which was unheard of before.

I am at roughly $200K all-in for my car (sweet mother of GOd) after config, CA sales tax + reg, ADM.... Just about $50K over what I initially wanted to spend when I went down this rabbit hole looking for a .1 or .2 GT3 but all I am doing now is re-building my configuration online, counting down the days till delivery like a kid waiting for Christmas to arrive.

Search around on this subforum, especially on the PTS tracking thread, there has been a stop-order for CXX/PTS as of late January if I am not mistaken. Some now are hearing that it is intended to end all PTS on the .2 GT3 (not re-opening the PTS window), whereas others think the window will re-open in the late Summer/early Fall...don't shoot the messenger here
