Suggestions for Nürburgring:

I'll be there March 8-9... what is going on those days? Good to stay at pistonhause or where? I've already done the bmw 128i rental + instructor.. what to do this time maybe?

Thanks

Doesnt look like any Tourist Days until 10 days later:

Nor much else that early in season (could easily be snowy):

Definitely try to get to Düsseldorf or Berlin to check out Classic Remise (http://www.remise.de). It's amazing.

I'll be at the Ring for the Manthey track day on the 24th and might stay for the weekend as well.
Have fun
I think most will be afraid of bumping into Shmee there.

Yes and the steak on the rock at the restaurant is quite good. Very cool place. Sabine Schmidt’s family owns the place, I think?

I did do a lap in my 2017 BMW 520d rental. Nice car but very slow with the small diesel. It was fun to drive on the track but I stayed far right and signaled everyone past me. I only passed one car the whole lap. Haha. So, I’d definitely recommend a dedicated rental track car.

My buddy got a ride with Theo Klein (sp?) driving a 2016 GT3 RS and said it was an epic lap. I watched the video he recorded and Theo wasn’t leaving a whole lot on the table. I’m definitely buying a lap with him for a lap when I go back.

Stratos after Geneva, or at my wedding...

Afternoon of the 8th I guess since Nürburgring is not open I'll be driving south.. maybe the Romantic Road? Now that I realized no Ring possibility I need to re-evaluate how to use dates between 8-12th with Geneva show.

I already emailed Manthey about their track day on the 24th. I'm waiting to see cost + car rental options. It will be expensive but once in a lifetime thing.
