Default Ferodo DS3.12

Although Ferodo is actually an English Company, their name sounds Italian and all their pads are manufactured in Italy. Italy is currently under lock down. So no Ferodo shipments will be arriving any time soon.
WE really don't know how long we will have to wait. To try and stay ahead of the curve I have purchased from Essex all the Ferodo DS3.12 pads in stock in Porsche pad shapes. Today I will receive in the neighborhood of 60 sets.
If you are looking for DS3.12 for a Porsche I am probably going to be the only one that has them in stock. Call to order.

Mine are still serviceable but good to know you have them! Love the 3.12 compound.

I am considering a dual street track pad, nothing with crazy dust, how does this compare with the stock 19 RS pad?

Thx Clark

I have been a 1,11 fan for a few years. Could you or Jeff from Apex compare the 2. Form what i have seen the 3.12 allegedly runs fast and jumps higher... ( Inside joke for the older guys around )

Thanks for your thoughts .

I ran my car at Sebring on OEM pads for the first outing with the car. They have way less initial bite than both 1.11 and 3.12. The pedal felt spongy by comparison and my back was sore at the end of the weekend from braking. Changed to 1.11 which have a higher and flatter mu, big improvement. The 3.12 have an even higher initial bite but still.release well. They dust about the same as OEM but are easy on rotors which is the trade off. They also work well on the street which many endurance pads don’t do.

I also think the OEM pads suck. I took the car to the track for the first time and did think the brake pedal did felt spongy. It really lacks initial bite. I thought my brakes were gone but they are not. Are the 3.12 noisier than the OEM pads? I daily drive mine so don't want to create and orchestra when braking.
