Interesting that they got more than 339 ft lbs of torque out of a 4.0 liter NA engine for the first time in Porsche history for a road going car, 346 for this 991.2 RS vs the 339 in the RS 4.0, 991.1 RS, and 991.2 GT3.

Also intesresting that it takes all the fancy weissach options costing an extra 33K to get the RS down to the same weight as the GT3.

Damn. 13k for magnesium wheels...........!!!!!!

But only if I can get an allocation, I will gladly shell out 250k (expected out of pocket after taxes and etc)

Ring times will be interesting. Wouldn't be surprised with the new aero (note downforce higher then GT2 at slightly lower speed for one) that it could be as fast as or faster then GT2. Politically never going to say or release figures that would do that obviously. Though I suppose that turbo torque would still out punch it.

Going to be at least 10-20 sec slower than 2RS, IMO...

Power and torque difference is huge compared to a small aero difference.

It’s going to be very fast and emotional though 👍

Yes your probably right. We could nearly guess it though.. Say 13 sec quicker then GT3.2 and 13 sec slower then GT2RS.. .. Somewhere about there is the number the driver would be told to aim at... ,,,, 6:59.50 any one ??

That looks like a nice round number a marketing team would like.

I wonder why the license plate says 382. I guess that Porsche found 1kW in the last minute
