Remember, on paper the 991.1 GT3 and 991.2 GT3 are very similar, but there are differences behind the wheel (as Joe and others have documented). The 991.2 RS will be an improvement in a similar way.

the austrialian page drive.com which posted it first is down.
all the others just copied from them. poor picture quality. not normal...
some said: Porsche prolonged the embargo from 6th to 20th. based on changes or filter etc... - or it was just strategic because of 488GTO launch on 20th. or more near Geneva... who knows.
maybe the aussi guys didn´t got the message. because where are all the German, UK, US magazin articles?
maybe there will follow some other specs / pictures.?
i do not believe in the 997.1 graphic on the launch car.
when will go the configurator online?

The most novel thing about this car is that beautiful color. Otherwise, a .1 RS is 95% the same in my book. It's not the same huge change which happened with gt3 .1 & .2 where there was a displacement increase, new engine, and a new transmission option.
I may get laughed at for this... but I don't think premiums are going to be much different from .1 Rs for this .2... porsche could have done A LOT more with this car. Their "incremental steps" strategy has reach a level of minutiae which is impressively... minute.

Maybe Porsche is making the 991.2 RS not much of a departure from the 991.1 because they have plans for an "ultimate 991 RS edition" ala 997 RS 4.0? The timing with this new emissions stuff may be tight, but I wouldn't put it past Porsche to get trigger happy with some final editions as they did with the 997, and not just with the GT3's. Maybe we will see a particulate filter free 991 "RS America?" Or an "RS Rennlist Edition" with a manual and a "1 of 20" plaque placed on all 3,000 units they produce.

mhh. at 20th we will know why they delayed it.
i guess we will not see the 997.1 grafics.
but i guess we will see WP.
but further we will not see a 4.2l or some other fancy changes. because this would been already in this (overhasty) published article.
i think AP wanted a better launch. not with half info and lowres pictures.

NS2,
i guess there will not follow a limited edition. at least nobody heared or saw anything till now. Or?
a 991.2 speedster with NA 4.0 will come...
edit: Metzeger was faster
but please don´t say "last NA"...
but thinking about it. yes. could be
next GT3RS could become hybrid - as the 992 GT2RS will be.
GT3 could stay 100% NA.
