No MT and same 4L displacement. I will pass if I have to pay ADM.

But, I like the graphic. Reminds me of 997.1 gt3 rs. Def better than cheesy 997.2 rs graphics

Expectations of a 4.2L engine were off-base as many of us here pointed out eons ago.

And for those who actually follow history, there hasn't been as "minimal" or "lazy" an evolution in a GT car since the 996.1->996.2 GT2.

The 964 3.8 was a real homologation special and radically different. PAG hasn't had a ".2" RS from then until the 997.2, which is a step function above the 997.1 in terms of visuals, powertrain, suspension (an oft-underlooked point) and interior. And that's before counting the 4.0 after that.

The 991.2 effort here is positively LAZY. Like the McL Senna, I hope it delivers more in the driving department than the headlines would suggest...

The 997 had the RS 4.0 so the last 991 GT unicorn would be the one to get. That might be a numbered 550 hp MT that goes for $500k but let’s see if history repeats.

What a disappointment, I'd pass on this. Everyone should move on, nothing to see here. Half-baked effort. Let's ignore our dealers and teach them a lesson. I will reluctantly take your allocation off your hands. Green looks terrible on this car. ;)

Seriously, waiting to see this color in real pictures.

Nice car for those who missed the boat on the 991.1RS first time around.

Those who already own a 991.RS are probably not going to trade up for the extra 20hp....

992RS will be the major factor in the 991RS future resale....

Considering ADMs for .2 GT3RS are already at 75k+, doubtful

the fact of the matter is in today's global econ, EVERYTHING is linked. if DJIA drop like this for 3 more weeks, not buying porsche would be only a tiny issue compared to world chaos.
be careful of what u wish for.

Then we have a double buying opportunity! RS for all and stock on the cheap!

Rear bumper has substantially larger vents. Lower spoiler looks more undercut than .1RS. More aggressive/busy looking rear of car.

Perhaps to incorporate similar aero treatment as the 2RS (which has a similar outlet behind the wheel)? With all the space cleared up from not having the intercooler piping there's probably tangible improvement to the engine intake pathway and also to cooling...

The 520HP number on the RS is what the .2 GT3 engine makes anyways. In the GT3 it was underrated and in the RS its the actual rating. This could be the end of a NA era for Porsche which is a shame. They just cant keep up with all the HP wars and insane track numbers without going Forced Induction. I was really hoping to see NA with electric assisted power before going Turbocharger on the GT3 cars, but i guess that is not happening now.

Should Porsche use GT3 name if it doesnt have NA engine? Maybe they should return the GT2 name for their 550HP version “GT3” and retire the GT3 name until they come up with a NA engine that can pass emissions and still be competitive.

520 hp and 9K RPM....isn't that about what the 458 Italia had in 2011 or whenever it was introduced?

The bolded part is humorous; how can you speak with such authority?

The pistons are different sizes...

4.5 / 8 = 0.5625
4.0 / 6 = 0.6667

It’s bore x stroke. Not piston size. But yes two more pistons obviously helps the FIATs case!
looking forward to seeing these at C&Cs since thats the only place I’ll ever see one.

Underwhelmed. 20 Hp bump over GT3 is at the lower end of expectations. Sounds like it's got the GT2 suspension. RWS changes will be similar to GT3. The hood ducts are ok but are not required.

One of the articles says lightweight door cards with nets but pictures suggest otherwise.

No secret sauce or surprise feature. Even decals look old to me. Green looks metallic, which I'm not keen on. Would choose a different colour.
