Are GT3s with ADM moving off dealer lots?

But keep in mind Livermore's listed ADM is like $40K, while Carlsen's is $25K. Same car. Same "market." Why is one $15K more than the other lol

But look, car dealerships are in business to make money. Selling cars is just a byproduct. As a consumer, I want the lowest price of course. As a business owner, I want the most profit. I think we all understand that. But it's fun to bitch and moan about the evil dealers who want to conquer the world. At the end of the day, caveat emptor. Which is why I'm glad this forum exists so we can all help educate and inform one another.

a Black/black with 18 ways sold within a day of arriving at one store local to me.
a Miami blue with buckets/ manual/pccb sold in less than a week.
both had ADM, so I was told.
there is a silver one as well - manual, no buckets, but pccb and lift - just got there apparently.

SC late last year got in their first couple .2 GT3s that were listed for $30K ADM (rhodium and carmine red) and were both sold within 2 weeks (do not know closing price). I was interested in the Rhodium at the time and they were firm to me at $30K not a penny less (maybe they didn't like me heh).
I saw the RS's they held onto as well....I thought they were nuts with their ADM on the white and GT Silver one but hey they ended up selling when I thought they wouldn't
I bet .2's with ADM sold close to ask during the initial batch that landed. As time is progressing I would wager the dealers are taking a wait and see approach as more cars are hitting inventory to be flipped, but also aware that production might end this year for the 2018 GT3.

1100 US cars or so with production slowing every month and the startup with the RS and continued production of the GT2, no '19's suggest total could be lower than anyone expected.

Are we possibly looking at under 2K GT3's in the entire US, if so these cars will might be a limited car. That would average out to only 40 GT3's per State in the US. Granted some States get way more and some States get way less.

Has anyone seen a touring for sale? All the listings I see for new or used .2 gt3’s are for the winged version. I’m surprised I haven’t seen any “customer canceled “ tourings. Wonder what arm will be for those.

I was at the Collection (Miami) this morning for the Das Renn Treffen preshow event and multiple SA's told me no more GT3.2 allocations for this year, unless PAG unexpectedly springs up a few here & there. They have a long list of deposits for a first-dibs waiting list. The car is still high demand, obviously, and especially in south FL. Both PDK and Manual...

I was at Champion Porsche a few weeks ago while on vacation. Quite a nice setup there. There were at least 6 new GT3's in the back storage area that had yet to be picked up. They had a black/pdk/pccb that someone backed out of on the lot offered to me at 15 over. Tempting, but i'm a manual guy only. As of now they are not expecting any new allocations either and they're one of the top 2 dealers in the country.

Here are some shots. Some were customers' cars stored there. All the new GT3's were yet to be picked up. Not sure how long they'd been sitting on the lot.

Believe it or not,
One of the local dealership (Niello Porsche in Rocklin, CA) had a manual Carmine Red Gt3 about 2 weeks ago, high MSRP ~ 180 with 40 K markup. It was sold within a week.
It may not have sold for 40 K over but doubt anything under 30 K. The demand for these cars in California is crazy...

I just put down a 5K refundable deposit on a buildable 2018 991.2/GT3 for 25K over MSRP. I had been offered a buildable GT3 at 20K over MSRP about a month ago but balked at that because I was operating under the assumption/delusion that you “never” pay over MSRP..........well look at me now I am paying 25K for the same “privilege” so I guess the extra 5K is a stupid tax.
I feel for most of us if you want a GT3 then you have to suck it up and deal with what in my mind is a morally questionable practice.....
