I thought about leather, but wasn't sure how it would match with alcantara

When do you get your car? Would like to see how it turned out with the leather trim!

Go for the cheapest options possible, considering you are loaning the money and living paycheck to paycheck.

Only downside of the anthracite is you do not get the matching "GT3" logo on the door sills, that stays silver/aluminum. Have to go CXX for that one and it was pricey.

So since I chose anthracite, the door sill will be aluminum ? If so that sucks

sorry, I did not read carefully. Part of the door sill is aluminum, but it matches the aluminum on the door handles, paddles and other areas. Not all I f the trim is anthracite, but it still looks good

Should have my .2 in about two months. I'll post up pics of the trim. Didn't realize the paddles stay standard aluminum. My thinking was this:
Carbon fiber is so overdone and too shiny
Leather would look out of place with all that alcantara
Painted interior would look obnoxious (viper green)
All that was left was anthracite, i thought it would all be matched, but now it seems it doesn't

I don't understand this. Isn't every single piece of trim we're talking about here immediately adjacent to more leather? I changed my order from Brushed Anthracite Aluminum to leather when I realized that the Anthracite wasn't the same as the black I had in my Boxster. I'd order the black again in a heartbeat but didn't want the lighter anthracite since I think it sticks out too much. I switched to the leather so it will blend in nicely and not draw attention to itself.

The upper dash is leather isn't it? Right down to the trim? And the top of the doors are leather, down to the trim, right? So the leather option effectively just brings that down another inch an a half or so until you get to the Alcantara.

Yes, my thoughts as well. Leather is the only matte dark trim option.

Still wondering what he meant about it looking out of place.
