I would only want a car with it. Would it be the end of the world without it? No. I don't want to fill up every session.

Only regret in ordering the extended range tank is not getting to see my aluma-look gas cap as often.

Not to derail the thread but what the hell? You put the hammer down and the car decides some kinda-neutral is the place to be? How is this not a safety issue?

Remember - the weight of the actual fuel tank is an insignificant difference between the two.
With the extended range tank you can always under-fill it if you want the car lighter for some reason. And you still have the option of a greater range if desired.
Basically, there is no downside to ordering it.

UK (or more accurately, Right Hand Drive) cars don't accommodate the option, so we only ever get the small tank.
If you don't know what you'e missing, it's zero issue. I've never heard anyone complain about having to fill up too often
If we had the option, I would choose the larger one to save stops on the highway, but I wouldn't fill it up every time on track, as 63kg of fuel is very noticeable. (@c0.7kg/litre)

If you want to know about small tanks being a PITA, get a Lotus. They have 40 litre tanks, and crap fuel gauges. The small GT3 one is 64Litres, so 60% larger than the standard Lotus tank!

Could you email him about the mess that is TPMS “circuit mode” as well? Default to the last state (I.e. stay in circuit mode at the next turn on if it was in it last time!), and don’t disable it below 26 psi. Thanks.

Wrong topic I know...
