GT3 Brake Options
Hey,
As you all know there are two brake options for the GT3. The normal iron brakes and carbon ceramic brakes.
My question is for day to day drive and canyon runs (ans almost never seeing the track) which brakes makes less noise specially squeal noise. It squeal noise really drives me insane.
I appreciate you sharing your experiences.
Thanks,

BRAKE options: pccb is very quiet and produces no dust on the wheels. iron is hit and miss. some will be squealing pigs.

Depends on the lads used. If you run a track pad the steel brakes will squeal due the aggressive compound. Braking harder will stop the squealing but is hard to do on the street.

This can depend greatly on how well the brakes were bedded in together. Typically you have less chance of brake noise on ceramics than you do on iron due to the frequency of the rotor material. Track-oriented pads will typically have brake squeal to varying degrees based on the compound, but some brake squeal is normal on Porsche's brake systems even on factory pads. If you are looking for guaranteed NO brake noise, unfortunately a Porsche may not meet your goals.
