991.2 GT3 Upgrade
I'm looking to getting GMG headers and exhaust for my 991.2 GT3 and I'm looking for opinions about if it's worth it, if there are better options and if you truly feel a difference in performance. Thanks all.

I have been buying GMG exhaust systems since 2007. Call GMG and the owner James will most likely pick up, or his guy Dom. They been around awhile and stand by their products and they RACE what they sell. If you are in Cali you can check out their shop too.

If you read the 8 million replies on the exhaust thread, they read like this:
IPE- sounds loudest(best?)/ like an f1 car
GMG- good dudes, good product
Akrapovic if you have a ton of money, may not be loud enough, reliable quality
Dundon - good sound, great power, good dudes, lots of options
sharkwerks - lots of people have them, seems like they are not as common now? website has an "out of stock" popup for 991
also, you need to know how much of your exhaust system you want to change.
PS - no dis to anyone, just paraphrasing what my impressions were of the overall conversation. I do not own any of those products.

If no headers the GRP exhaust is hands down the best. If headers are your route I think you will find most love Dundon. Good luck.

very happy with my GRP exhaust. When my GT3.2 arrived months ago, I was not happy with the sound...in fact it really had me questioning why I ordered the car (already have an RS). However, I had the GRP exhaust installed and BINGO, car sounds fantastic. So good that had it put on my RS too. Anyone need a year old Sharkwerks bypass? PM me. Just my take.

GMG makes some good stuff. If you are going to go with their headers than I get it why would you not go with their Bypass. Headers is some thing I am still considering and they look like they make a good LT Header w/catts which most other Vendors here pushing Racing Headers here so does interest me. But, I would start with a Bypass first and then after a couple months if you think you want a little more power and noise than may make a nice addition. I still would like to see some HP/ Torque data on their Headers.
