Comments- 14 CPO?
https://www.porscheaustin.com/auto/u...n-tx/22945305/
It has been for sale for 5-6mo and has come down ~17k since their initial asking price months ago. It looks reasonably optioned although it does not have the bucket seats I was looking for.
Does anyone know it? After speaking with the dealer, they seem motivated to sell it so I'm guessing 120k for a low mileage CPO is reasonable.
There are tons of 14s for sale. Would you guys just hold out for a '15 instead (an extra year of CPO warranty)???

Looking at the pictures, it looks like the headlights have some issues around the perimeter. From what I've read, folks have been able to get those replaced under warranty. Just a thought if you do decide to pursue this one.

$120K wouldn't be bad at all with 13K miles and CPO if hasn't been driven hard.
Good comment on the headlights, they need replacing. Dealer should do it.
Car been tracked?
2015's will always be higher resale because of engine issue. Newer engine version too, in addition to a year more warranty.

What's up with the pic of the car from the rear where it looks grey?
Anyway - I'd want the history on the car, but generally speaking there's nothing wrong with 2014 GT3s. I had one, tracked it. My buddy has one, tracks it (his just got the engine replacement), etc. For the money, I think they are the best thing going. If I wanted a dedicated track car Porsche, I think a 2014 GT3 would top my list.

A word of caution.......'14 GT3's cannot be CPO'd. (meaning 6 years and 100K miles from in-service date) They did get one extra year of warranty due to the early engine issues. Due to the concerns of many, and the help of a few in here ( Robmypro and others) who met with key figures at POrsche in Atlanta.....the results were that Porsche would provide an extended 10 year warranty up to 120K miles for finger follower top end issues that resulted in engine problems, including failures.....NOT a blanket extended warranty, just a top end issue that would be covered by Porsche.
I would suggest that you ask the SA very specific questions about what they are offering, and then make sure it is clearly spelled out, in writing on your purchase contract should you get that far.....I suspect, and I am not trying to 'dis' anyone, but the SA's goal is to sell the car not make sure your protected.

Actually model year 2014 ("E") ended early. Production was halted due to the connecting rod screws engine issues. When regular production restarted in about Sept 14, they were model year 2015 ("F").

Yes, the 2014 production run was cut short by the stop sale.
All 2014's had their initial engine replaced, either at the factory or at port. Some have had additional engine replacements or top-end rebuilds since then as well.
No 2014's have full bucket seats.
A small number were bought back by Porsche and have a branded title. Those cars should be discounted accordingly.
