We refund your money if you cancel and we are able to fill your spot. A lot of the costs are fixed - we rent the entire resort, have a set fee for dinner, etc. Last year we had a few last minute cancels and were able to accommodate most in one way or another. There is a transporter coming from Seattle through Scottsdale. Not sure of the route and whether it's full or not. FJSeattle? Ideas?

Just got the email. First thing I did after getting the GT3 is sign up for the smokies event. Is there a transporter coming from Florida by any chance?

aren't FL and GA neighboring states? Driving is part of the fun! See ya there.

I'm from Italy, and I've driven all the mountain passes in Europe, and many famous roads in the world... I'm telling you you've never experienced race-track like roads like where we are going with Smokies. It's a driving experience you simply can't miss. Google hwy 28, cherohala skyway, the dragon - 129, blueridge parkway.. hwy 60 out of Suches. These are racetrack smooth, perfectly cambered roads with all kinds of decreasing radius turns, big flowing turns, switchbacks from hell.. like a videogame. The vistas may not be like in Europe, and you may very well die from how terribly low quality and unhealthy the food is in the SE USA, but if you make it to Smokies you'll never forget the driving experience.

Also, you get to meet everyone and put a face to their ridiculous posts and then laugh with them about your own ridiculous posts. It's epic.

DO IT.

Wait a minute. Fried chicken, pork chops, drop biscuits/gravy and fried apples is the breakfast of champions. I grew up on this and I'll turn 71 for this event😁
